I have example code using the VHPI (as defined by the VHDL PLI Task
Force) for both foreign subprograms and foreign architectures. It is
a bit complex (the overall source is about 10 kLOC). But I can pare
things down and post some working examples for use with a purportedly
VHPI compliant simulator (the only ones I'm familiar with are Cadence
and Aldec, and I only have access to Aldec).
Let me hack things up a bit, and I can post examples of both.
That would be very welcome!
