   @jbertram You may argue that.. but I don't think it has much use for that...
   
   the users I talked to wanted to protected their disks with max-page.. it's 
the same usecase.
   
   
   you basically use the protection of disk-full by limiting the number of 
pages.. or you hit a hard limit.
   
   
   Having an extra option will only add extra complexity and extra clutter.. 
   
   
   I would definitely prefer to have it simple.
   
   
   Besides the code would get simpler also.
