Review comment:
       `clone.byteStarts[i]` is always zero but `byteStarts[i]` can be 
different values, depending on how it was assigned initially in 
`VectorHashKeyWrapperBatch#assignString` methods. Example: 
assignStringBullsNoRepeatingSelection
