LLM respose 😬: Iceberg core provides the CatalogHandlers classes for the actual operations, but it does not provide framework-agnostic HTTP routing utilities. Iceberg deliberately leaves HTTP path routing and prefix extraction up to the implementing web framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Javalin, Spark Java). Since Hive's REST catalog implementation uses a raw HttpServlet (via IcebergMetastoreServlet), we have to manually parse the path and extract the optional prefix offset. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
