techee left a comment (geany/geany-plugins#1238) I'm still not completely sure whether supporting all the lua versions is a good idea and whether it's useful for anything. For maintenance, bug reporting, etc. it would be easier to support a single lua version (e.g. 5.4). Anyway, this is just my opinion and if others disagree, please go ahead merging this PR.
