PFlass created an issue (geany/geany#4439) I have a file that displays garbage when I open it - it looks like a line or two of Chinese. I suspect it's my problem, but I have no way of knowing what's wrong. I have tried both without "Use fixed encoding when opening non-Unicode files" (shown) and ISO 8859-15 with the same results.
