rovf created an issue (geany/geany#4627) Running Geany 2.1 installed with Homebrew on MacOS 26.5.2
When I start geany, I see that half of the window is used for just the status line: <img width="1786" height="1182" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/805f7d02-4e30-4456-98c0-336363972ba6"; /> I can manually adjust the status line, so that it looks more reasonable: <img width="1786" height="1182" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/b3a32fb1-5800-40e8-9f87-ba6b01e35916"; /> But once I quit geany and start it again, the status line is again like in the first screenshot. This was not always the case: Up to a few weeks ago, I had a fairly small/slim status line. One day, I happened to have a different monitor connected to my Macbook, with higher resolution, and on that day I found it convenient to make the Geany window and also make the high of the status line larger (so that I can see more search results). It looks as if this "extended height" somhow got stuck into Geany, because since then (again working with only the builtin monitor), Geany always presents me with that former division of the screen.
