I've improved the error message on the ORC side via this PR: https://github.com/apache/orc/pull/1587. It would be good to use TZDB on the local host when available. As an alternative, the ORC library could ship IANA TZDB as a bundled third-party library and uses it as a fallback. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
