Review Comment:
   Do we want the `Box` only to be an implementation detail? If the user 
already has a `GeospatialStatistics`, then this has to be copied in `Box::new`? 
   
   I'm just wondering whether there's any value in having the API take in a 
`Box<GeospatialStatistics>` instead of boxing it inside this function
