i think i understand the issue now, thanks for explaining. could you elaborate on point C a bit more? is it saying we replace `release` & `private_data` (which in this scenario contains pyarrow specific data) with our own wrapper struct that holds both our new metadata + release and the old metadata + release? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
