I have an architectural question: say we want to expose a RecordReader API to get bit-packed boolean data instead of a `bool*`, so as to avoid [repacking bools](https://github.com/apache/arrow/blob/373d64c02cb23663b63c5853099fca43a46c39fc/cpp/src/parquet/arrow/reader_internal.cc#L470-L503) when reading as Arrow, how would you do that in the current code organization? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
