Thanks for pointing out the deeper `a.b.c` collision. I reproduced the ambiguity independently. I've intentionally kept this PR focused on the top-level collision reported in #52997, where exact top-level precedence matches the Dataset API. The deeper nested-path case needs an explicit decision on precedence semantics, so I'd prefer to handle it in a follow-up rather than expand this fix without agreement.
