Thanks for the approval and the clarification suggestion! I've updated the PR description with a short before/after example showing that an exact top-level `a.b` column takes precedence over the nested `a → b` path, regardless of schema order. I've also explicitly documented the remaining `a.b.c` nested-path ambiguity and clarified that this PR changes exact top-level name precedence, not behavior based on the number of dots.
