Review comment:
       It's a bit confusing, but if you add a numeric vector to a POSIXlt 
object then the result is a POSIXct. In the example below `a` does not have a 
`"tzone"` attribute.

   a <- strptime("2020-01-01", format = "%Y-%m-%d") + 1
   class(a)
   #> [1] "POSIXct" "POSIXt"
   attributes(a)
   #> $class
   #> [1] "POSIXct" "POSIXt"
