I would prefer these replies to be from contributors who have read carefully, filtered, and refined them. Based on my daily experience, AI-generated conversations tend to have redundancy and possible errors. Yes I agree -- getting a dump of an LLM answer to a question doesn't help either the contributor or the proejct. I still think @2010YOUY01 did a great job capturing this in our guidelines https://datafusion.apache.org/contributor-guide/index.html#ai-assisted-contributions > An AI dump for an issue doesn’t meet these purposes. Maintainers could finish the task faster by using AI directly, and the submitters gain little knowledge if they act only as a pass through AI proxy without understanding.
