So I think, in summary some things that could be tried out to optimize IO: - Range coalescing for `LocalFilesystem` (Gemini advises 4kB - 64kB max gap) to do fewer system calls - Implement https://github.com/apache/arrow-rs-object-store/issues/18 to do fewer open / close calls - Optimize allocations - Do something smarter for IO threads (?) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
