SQL Server allows multiple column definitions after one `ALTER TABLE ... ADD` clause. This adds a dialect capability for implicit ADD items, preserves repeated ADD syntax, and covers columns with nested type/default expressions plus inline CHECK constraints. Other dialects retain the existing operation parsing.
