# Rationale for this change
We need to release `datafusion-python 55.0.0` but the follow on work linked
in #1676 will not be reviewed and ready to merge for a while. This PR brings in
a smaller set of changes from those in order to have fewer breaking changes in
the following PR merges.
# What changes are included in this PR?
- Documentation updates
- Make `SessionExtensionComponents` kwargs only
- Move around where `PhysicalOptimizerRuleExportable` is located
# Are there any user-facing changes?
None. This only impacts new code in this release.
