I investigated with AI a elegant refactor to Gabotechs refactor critique in https://github.com/apache/datafusion-iceberg/pull/48, unfortunately I never reached a point where I felt comfortable making a PR over it, and have been distracted with other work 🙇 . For the time being, Ballista has what it needs to move forward and it would be great to release a new crate just so the standalone ballista iceberg scan PR (https://github.com/apache/datafusion-ballista/pull/2638) can reference the actual release and not just some frozen commit pointed at this repo. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
