## Which issue does this PR close? - Closes #26363. ## Rationale for this change With `datafusion.optimizer.enable_piecewise_merge_join = true`, semi/anti piecewise merge joins on `RunEndEncoded` keys fail with `Min/Max accumulator not implemented for type RunEndEncoded`. ## What changes are included in this PR? `extreme_key` in `existence_join.rs` now sends `RunEndEncoded` keys through the comparator-based path already used for nested keys, instead of `min_batch`/`max_batch`. ## What is the testing strategy for this PR? New `RunEndEncoded` queries in `pwmj.slt` (EXISTS, NOT EXISTS, RIGHT SEMI, RIGHT ANTI). They fail before the change and pass after. Also ran `cargo test -p datafusion-physical-plan --lib piecewise` and clippy. Only the `<` operator and small inputs are covered. ## Are there any user-facing changes?
