Hi @alamb @devanbenz, has there been any progress on this, or is anyone currently working on a prototype? If no one is actively working on it, I'd be happy to explore a prototype of the rebalancing approach discussed above, keeping the existing `BinaryExpr` representation and using the Spark/Comet implementations as references.
