   Yes, the plan is likely not optimal.
   I hope for a follow-up soon 
(https://github.com/apache/datafusion/pull/14813#discussion_r2334061407), but 
in the meantime we definitely need to avoid exponential planning time. What 
good is a better plan if we spend long minutes in the optimizer first?
