I see that in the past ASF was listed as Org in Google Summer of Code : https://community.apache.org/gsoc/guide-to-being-a-mentor.html Given that DataFusion/Comet already has several impactful, mid‑to‑large scoped initiatives, it would be great to proactively organize and nominate a set of well-defined GSoC project ideas. This can help us clarify our medium‑term roadmap, identify subprojects that are suitable for contributors, and associate them with rough timelines. Programmes like GSoC are a strong catalyst for collaboration and community engagement, so participating as part of the ASF GSoC effort could significantly boost both our contributor pipeline and project momentum.
