A basic primer: "We're working on it" - There is probably actual code somewhere. Someday it might even be released into the wild. "It's on the list" - Something we'd like to do. We may or may not implement it though. "We'll take it under advisement" - It's not on the list, but we might add it to the list if we hear a lot of people that want it.
Simply put, we don't give out a hard yes or no, or a timeframe. Why? We don't want to turn people away who are making suggestions, and we don't want people to get upset because they were "promised" something and then it did not happen for whatever reason. We give serious consideration to everything that's suggested, we keep track of the stuff we really like and want to implement, and we don't announce new features until they are launched. Think of it like Apple if you like, minus the extreme paranoia.
