Hi Sytse, the issue is that while it is discretion of Gitlab on whether to
host repos or not, the problem is the reasoning given to us for not
allowing it.

The original argument posed to you by the tweet claimed it was a harassment
campaign against women. I understand that you did actually look at the
contents but you did not cite any evidence to that person's claim.

The item you cited was merely instructions for people who wished to not be
named for *FEAR* of retaliation that would harm their lives is what drove
that part of the repo. Can it be worded better so there is less confusion
about meaning? Yes. If we corrected the wording to be more explicit in
meaning would that remedy your concerns?

As for using my real name and email, I can say I've actually dealt with you
personally before in an official capacity and I'm not using my real name
for fear that it could be used against me to ruin my life. That should tell
you the gravity of the situation that people are dealing with because of
these people, like the one that raised the complaints to you.
