Hi, is it possible to add your own pre-receive / update hooks to a git repository owned by gitorious (a local installation)?
I noticed that gitorious replaces the hooks directory of every new created git repository with a symbolic link pointing into its own installation. I could of course change this symbolic link to point somewhere else, where I have can add my own hooks. And take care that the original hooks are still being called. But is seems like a hack. And I'm not sure if Gitorious at some point decides to reset the symbolic link. Are there any other possibilities? What about this web-hooks branch, I couldn't find any info about it.
