Dear Members of GKD,

Link-Net Research & Academy, Bangladesh is a non-profit organization,
working for the development of Bangladesh. In the last few years we have
seen a strong enthusiasm over Information Technology among the common
people in Bangladesh. Thousands of learners are studying and receiving
training in this field.

Unfortunately the course fee is too high for the common people. The
second problem is that only an insignificant portion of the learners who
are receiving training become skilled programmers. As a result,
Information Technology is yet to become a source of earning foreign
exchange. Against this backdrop, Link-Net Research Center has been
established. Our main goals are:

(a) To organize seminars and exhibitions on Information Technology in
different places of the country. Thus the mass people living outside the
capital city, Dhaka, would get exposure to the various aspects of
Information Technology.

(b) To arrange training with no or minimal fee. We want to create
skilled programmers who would contribute in the IT sector. From our
general observation we have found that the main reason behind the
failure of our learners to become skilled programmers is lack of English
language skills. We are also trying to address this aspect.

(c) To develop Software for the common people as well as for different
organizations.

We seek co-operation from GKD members in this regard.

Thanking you.

Admiringly Yours,

Md.Mahmodul Hasan
