As an optometrist the axis is fine, because the cyl is moderate. The verticle prism is no good, but just how did he measure these things, a new computerized or the old thing that looks a microscope. Remember, there is some "subjectivity" in how hasrd dials are focused etc, and some offices know computer lensometer A finds unwanted prism.
If there is indeed that much prism, those two pairs should be returned for inspection and or replacement. By the way, do the ones with prism feel any different, make you dizzy, make your eye's pull? or can you not tell the difference. Having such a "decent" rx means you probably had pairs off on prism because on a higher thicker lens, as it's being "edged" or shaped to your frame, the lens can slip a mm or 2 in this case up and down. Was smoke coming out of your docs ears, cause most guys I know would be fuming when asked to check 4 pairs you never bought from him, and then dare to come in and question. Then again, maybe there's more optical professionals out there will to participate in the largest future growth area in the industry, save Lasik.
