... after 24 days. :( My original choice for frame was out of stock,
so I had to chose another one.:(

But once they got here, I loved them! I bought a pair of half-rim
frames with mineral glass photochromatic lenses. Total: $32.29.

They arrived in good shape, with nose pieces attached. They came
packed in a hard case, with a cleaning cloth + extra nose pieces.

This is my first pair of half-rim frames, glass lenses, and
photochromatic lenses.

As some have noticed with the half-rim glasses, there is a gap between
the top of my lenses and the frame; however, the lenses seems to be
held firmly in place by the filament wrapped around the bottom.

The lenses seem to have a bit of a sheen to them that I am not used
to; probably the uv coating.

The photochomatic lenses are great; they do not darken as much as
sunglasses (I'll use clip-on glasses for lounging on the beach,
driving, etc), but are perfect for walking between building, etc

Like I said, I have been wearing them for three days and they seem
very sturdy. I am a long-time contact wearer who is trying to wear
glasses more often. I do tend to destroy sunglasses very quickly, so I
am worried about my new glasses' life-span. But at $30 a pop, I'm not
nearly as stressed!!!!!

I am ordering a second pair from goggles4u as a back-up, and once that
arrives, I plan to pick my favorite of the two and order it as
sunglasses.
