One other thought occurred to me, which may help you until you get your replacement pair of glasses.
There is a wonderful product called JB Weld, which is a very sophisticated epoxy. They've made it for decades, in a small town in Texas (not too far from me, actually), and it's essentially epoxy steel. http://www.jbweld.com It was originally designed for repairing castings on tractors, etc...but it's just a liquid epoxy that dries steel hard and tough, and which applies like liquid glue. It's available in most hardware stores, most WalMart stores, and many auto parts stores. Simply put it's a miracle material, and could probably glue your glasses back together...probably stronger than the original joints. It might not be the prettiest repair, but it should allow you to function in the mean time. It cures to a dark gunmetal gray color. -- Chuck Knight P.S.
