I need to doublecheck my methodology of taking my PD....I took a millimeter ruler to my face, resting it on bridge of my nose and had my son take a digital camera picture close up picture of my eyes with the ruler. Using Adobe photoshop I made a straight line through the middle of each pupil to the ruler. Using that I did some measuring and came out with 53mm for my PD.
Does my methodology sound correct? Now I'm asian indian and have a narrower face than most (at least I think)....This is my first time buying glasses through the internet and I just worried if I screw up this PD measurement I'll have wasted paying for set of glasses. My prescription is (R) -5.25 / -0.75 x 90 (L) -5.50 / -0.75 x 90....do you recommend going 1.67 high index?
