We just got my husband's order in from Zenni - three pairs, including
bifocal with photogrey, reading, and sunglasses. They are
excellent! And all for $127. His last pair of bifocals cost more
than $400, and the frames were too narrow (so much for the value of
being fitted in a shop!)

I was especially impressed that Zenni's lab emailed us to ask for a
copy of the original prescription, because the order didn't make
sense. So we emailed that, and they replied showing what the reading
prescription ought to be based on the bifocal, which was different
from what the prescription seemed to show. So I called the doctor's
office, and they were correct. He'd written the reading prescription
wrong.

I've found that their site has instructions for converting your
bifocal prescription into various single-visions. So now I'm looking
into a few pairs for me. And my husband wants to pick up a pair of
computer/midrange glasses.

This is just wonderful that we can both get specialized glasses, and
have backups, for less than what one pair has cost us before.
