I would like to contribute to the effort of converting the latest
documentation (0.83.1) into English using the DITA XML format. If it
exists, where can I find the source of the original French version in the
DITA XML format?
Thank you,
Andrew Watkins

Since I am only get the daily digest it had stripped off the attachment.
Glad that you able to get it.
I am not familiar with DITA. Poking around in the glpi documentation
repository, the individual .dita files looks like it is a little more of an
issue to run through google translate, though it may still be worth a try.

Here is
the 1st stab at it.
This is a really good first step !
It would be very interesting if someone else wants to contribute also
and begin to write this translation in the DITA XML format.
In this way, we could be able to generate french and english
documentation and maintain both of them easily.
Best regards,
