PO files (Portable Object files) are gettext based files which consist of multiple entries holding the relation between original untranslated strings and their correpsonding translations. You can convert the .po file to .mo utilizing this online tool: http://po2mo.net/ Then you can download the .mo file and place it in the correct language directory.
