In 0.68 i was very happy to insert enterprises and use it both as manufacturer in the devica page and a supplier in the management data page.
Migrated to 0.71.X, i've mass-added enterprises, and only then start to add devices, asking me why enterprises does not appear on the 'manufacturer' dropdown. Only now i've realized that in 0.68->0.71 migration this information was splitted, and now manufacturer belong to a different table, glpi_dropdown_manufacturer. WHY?! I really does not understand this choice, why i've to insert two times the same information in two places? Please, explain me... PS: i'm really thinking of a SQL script that will copy glpi_enterprises to glpi_dropdown_manufacturer as a regular basis... -- dott.
