Hi,
I was wondering if GLPI and OCS or FusionInventory (I have not used
Fusion Inventory at all) can be automated to achieve the following Linux
mostly and Windows if possible :
- We have some PC's that we sometimes move around the office, replace
monitors keyboard etc
- Would be possible to somehow track the movement with the change of the
port in the switch
-----Here there would be another clarification needed, how to track the
location properly;
We have Pc with 2 network cards that connects to wall plug or floor
tank plug, then in turn connects to patch panel, which connect to
switch. (I have not found a meaningful way to track this)
- Is it possible to automate the detection of inventory changes? (any
tutorials or how to's would be appreciated)
- Is it possible to automate the license tracking ( even with including
some API in the installscript)
