looks like we are using unsupported Dell and Force10 switches
namely:
- Dell PowerConnect 6248
- Force10 S4810P
and some other Dell equipment.
Is it maybe planned to support those devices?

Yes, changes are recorded (the big green arraw on the picture).

GLPI already support license tracking. The incoming FusionInventory
release will
collect the serail numbers from some product like MS Office on Windows.
