I guess so. My last ffmpeg update was less than 6 months ago.

gavl and gmerlin_avdecoder should be very stable. The main development happens in libgmerlin. I'm mostly playing around with remote player engines (like upnp media renderers). I also completely replaced my old media tree. This is work in progress and crashes from time to time....
