Several RISCs define an ABI where long and pointers are 32 bits, and
registers and long long are 64 bits.  MIPS n32, HPPA 2.0N, the PowerPC
ABI used by GNU/Linux and *BSD are examples.

It is not clear if 'word' there is 32 bits or 64 bits large...
