Yes, the fan still stays on, but the PWM will be smaller(will be put into the smallest level(1, the other two 2, 3)). It's "dangerous" to turn off the fan totally for currently, when netbook stays in suspend status(not really suspend to RAM, some other devices can not be powered off for the whole machine have only one unified power supply), there is about 4 or 5 W of power consumption left, so, we do not turn off the fan, just put its PWM into the smallest level to ensure the machine not be broken. In the future revision of YeeLoong, the power supply of it should be redesigned to implement the real STR, then we may turn of the fan totally. > > > On the plus side I haven't gotten linux kernel oopses in > > 2.6.32.2-libre-lemote so far, and unloading rtl8187b before suspend / > > reloading after is working again. > > My wifi doesn't come back when coming out of suspend. It really says "network is disabled"(a "weird" action for we have reported the blocked status into user-space when suspending but this time, the user-space will not report it for the applications have been freezed when suspending, the report will be delayed to resuming, I will fix this problem later, thanks!) but then it should try to resume the wifi and will resume it after 2-4 seconds. so, I guess you are using the wrong NetworkManager.
