There are some packages I'd love to see in gNewSense (gnash 0.8.6, Transmission 1.75, etc) but since I do not have the time to offer to maintain the package I just compile from source and go on my way. I wish I did have the time as I would love to contribute to the project in that way. I can't even begin to imagine the work that goes into maintaining 2.3 while trying to get 3.0 out the door.
