Correcting a typo:

I meant "that Debian ships" instead of "for Debian ships". :)
To do this one would have to go get the original source tarballs and recreate the documentation for the packages that are available and then rebuild the document parts.

The documentation would have to match the release version.

The idea of basing gNewSense on Debian was to make it easier to do multi arch along with other things in this space.

What you seem to be saying is there is a need to make a Free Software Documentation project and build a tool that searches your distribution for packages and then installs documentation from the internet and in some cases not in a packaged way. Are you beginning to see the size of this task?

Nice idea but unless you have a small army willing to create such a tool I think it won't happen.
