Both Citadel/UX and SOGo appear to be free software. A motherboard supported by Coreboot is a good thing. There are a few Via Epia boards listed at [1] but they don't seem to match your model exactly. Perhaps it's just differing names? Perhaps it would be good to ask the Coreboot people for more information, or select a known supported motherboard model. I've been looking at the Asus M2V-MX SE. It's in use in some machines at the Free Software Foundation so I know it works well, and it's small (uATX) although not as small as the the one you're looking at.
