i'm writin this w tablet ( note that i wont mention the linux variant
) as the three smallest kids are drawing near by ;o)
there appears to be a wiki page about the metad file - i'll take a
close look at that and then add some metad file to
'initrd_2.6.37_fuloong_0.2.gz'
my line about weather ment that here we have so much snow that it
bends trees over power lines so that we have serious trouble = many
houses have no electricity and thus trouble w warming...
our house is warm but there is breaks with IT as you can imagine -
i'll try to attach a photo later

how did you get the system installed = what about the metad file ?
cp /usr/share/debootstrap/scripts/sid /usr/share/debootstrap/scripts/metad
/mc
( i'm not able to do nothing write now because of kids - and weather
= i'll explain later )
I understand, I should be working + take care of the kids (only 2 here!)
instead of hacking chinese boxes ;-)
boot the newintrd.gz and shift to an other virtual console to be able
to copy the kernel from your usb stick to the hd and modules from
ram filesystem to hd
Fine! Thank you for your advice!
I make another try a bit later

Samy
