OK I had a second view on this and will have a try. Waiting until gNewSense 3.0 Parkes will have installation media might be easier. When will this be? >> Installation media is typically booted via USB disk or TFTP. > >> --How can I format an USB to ect2 when I use WinXPHome? > > I don't know other methods than using a GNU/Linux LiveCD. > << Wich brings us back to the external CD-Rom, right? I mean if I have > a live CD and a External CD-Rom, then the installation of Gnewsense on > the Notebook would be very easy, wouldn't it? gNewSense doesn't have CD-using media for YeeLoong, so it won't be different than without CDs. If your YeeLoong has another distro preinstalled, it can be used to format an USB disk with ext2 and put there files needed to install gNewSense (using debootstrap or Parkes installer when it'll be ready). The YeeLoong would come with a GNU/Linux distro called Luunix. It's from China!?!? Does anybody know what's the problem with Tekmote.nl? There I've ordered the YeeLoong and already payed throu bank transfer, from Germany to Netherlands. This was at 21st of June. Even I send them an email about 5 days ago but still no answer.
