These guys have something around $1K. Alhtough I have no experience with this particular model, we do have several of Pogo's StorageWare 3800's in service as NAS boxen and have been quite happy with them. They came preloaded with version of RedHat8/9+some_extra_stuff which we then reloaded according to a process based we defined. We wanted to do this so we would.

   a) Have a defined disaster recovery method
   b) Understand how the machine is actually built.
   c) Features we want
