To bring this back to Linux...

   1. Disconnect from the network.
   2. Remove all those files. You'll probably need to remove some .dll's
      too, but you'll need a MS-Window's expert to coach you through that.
   3. Reboot.

When reconnecting to the network, use WireShark (preferably on a Linux
box) to monitor all outgoing traffic as the system boots up. Verify the
transactions are legitimate and expected. Report any that aren't.
