A very long time ago when the chapter idea was basically created, it was thought there would be "mega meetings" so to speak quarterly or so which would be GNHLUG meetings as opposed to chapter meetings. These meetings would highlight "big name speakers" or more involved topics, provide a way for people in the various chapters to meet and socialize and plan, and for there to be a time and place to make decisions about GNHLUG. the assumption then, rightly or wrongly, was that it would take the place of chapter meetings that month. Historically, these have been in Nashua.
