I got the same mail.  I responded that we'd be happy to accept raffle 
items and that we clearly state who's donated the raffle goods (usually 
a publisher) and that we put sponsors' collatoral next to the sign-in 
sheet.  I think I not-so-subtly communicated that coupons-only aren't 
really a sponsorship.
