I have noticed that pump is, well, a piece of junk. It looks promising, but
it just ain't ready for prime-time yet. It was causing endless hangs in the
Linux Lab I mentioned, until we grabbed the latest version -- not from Red
Hat's updates, not from rawhide, but from the *maintainers's home directory*.
Good ole Red Hat. Trying their best to be just like a commercial Unix
vendor, screwball bugs and everything. :-) Oh, well. At least you can *fix*
Red Hat when it goes wrong. :-)
